- How can I get a burn permit?
You can obtain a burn permit simply by stopping by the fire department and filling out a very simple form. You are allowed to burn anything that naturaly grows on the land.

- How come I see fire trucks and personal vehicles with full lights and/or sirens driving down the road and then they turn off their lights and slow down?
Most of the time, several units are responding to the call at once. If the first unit on scene determines that immediate help is not needed or that it is not a true emergency we will turn our lights off and proceed to the scene with normal traffic.
